About this venue
Rådhussalene are the assembly rooms in Molde town hall at Rådhusplassen 1, used as meeting space for Molde municipality's administrative and political business. Outside office hours they are let for events: on weekday evenings and at weekends, with political meetings taking precedence over other bookings.
The suite comprises the larger Forsalen and the smaller Baksalen, which are booked separately, and a kitchen that can be hired with them. Bookings must be made at least eight days before the event.
Internal meetings, information meetings and courses where Molde municipality is itself the organiser are exempt from hire charges. Everyone else — clubs and organisations, cultural institutions, faith and belief communities, and municipal staff and politicians hiring for private events — pays the ordinary rate. The 2026 hourly rates are 507 kr for Forsalen and 177 kr for Baksalen for voluntary organisations, and 725 kr and 242 kr respectively for other hirers.
