About this venue

Redninga sits in the middle of Horten guest harbour, a short walk from both the ferry terminal and the bus station. It combines a restaurant, a bar and both an indoor and an outdoor stage, and describes what it does as "eatertainment" — good kitchen, good entertainment, in a deliberately informal setting. The stage is used by local bands as often as by national touring acts, with the occasional international booking. Recent programming includes Elg, the frontman of Dance With a Stranger, in a duo concert; Cash Commitment, a Johnny Cash and June Carter tribute; and Vigdis & Blå Tråd with a full band. Tickets are sold through TicketCo. The venue also takes private hire — kick-offs, parties and similar — with packages put together for each event. It is open every day from 12:00 and is run by Redninga AS.
