About this venue

Café Røed sits on Røed Gård, a farm in the countryside of Jeløy just outside Moss. It is a café and gallery in one, serving home-made food — salads, sandwiches, lasagne, pies, a generous weekend lunch buffet, fresh baking and cakes, with coffee and teas from one of Scandinavia's better tea houses — in a setting the owners describe as unique surroundings on an idyllic farm. Alongside the daytime café it programmes concerts. Recent and forthcoming bookings include Half Moon playing soul, rock and blues, an evening travelling through David Bowie's universe with the Tom Newton Orkester, and an Evert Taube evening with Peter Wemö. Tickets are sold through TicketCo. The café also does catering and takes private functions, with party menus and buffets on request. It is open Tuesday to Sunday 11:00-17:00 and closed on Mondays.
