Romanischer Keller

The Romanischer Keller is the University of Heidelberg's small theatre in the cellar of the Romanisches Seminar at Seminarstraße 3 in the Altstadt. The city describes it as a fixture of the university town that gives students and amateurs a platform to stage plays and perform them for an audience. Student groups play seasons here; the international theatre group IDeFix of the university's Institute for German as a Foreign Language, for example, staged its revue Wieder da! here on eight evenings in July 2025, at 10 euros a ticket.
