About this venue
Royal Arena opened on 3 February 2017 and holds up to 17,000 guests for concerts and cultural events and up to 12,500 for sport. It was designed by 3XN, has about 35,000 square metres of floor area, foyers, service areas and backstage areas, and seats the audience on three sides of the stage (the floor can be used as standing area). A separate corporate-events site lists the premises for hire: the main floor (up to 5,000 guests), Royal Bar (500), Restaurant Nohrlund (300), Royal Square (300), Vinyl Room (200), private suites (20), Laurent Perrier (300) and the concourse area (5,000). The arena has an in-house kitchen and production team, and parking is available at P-Hus Arena 20 metres from the venue.
