About this venue
Sakala Keskus is the municipal culture centre of Viljandi, in a building from 1953 in the town centre. Its main hall seats 300 or 120 at tables and has a stage about 6.7 m wide and 6.5 m deep, with three dressing rooms, a lift, fixed stage lighting and a grand piano. The centre also runs Viljandi lauluväljak, the open-air song festival ground, for about 1,000.
