About this venue
Simstadion Brottet is Halmstad's biggest outdoor swimming facility, on the coast on the road towards Tylösand, with heated pools, a 50 m lane pool and a water slide. In summer it doubles as a seaside concert arena, and artists such as Ulf Lundell, Per Gessle and Lars Winnerbäck have played there. The site is fenced and suited to ticketed events; the organiser provides any stage, and the municipality publishes a per-day event fee table. Bookings of the concert arena go through Halmstad kommun. The pool area is closed for bathing outside the summer season and on concert days.
