Siste Reis Pub – "the joint with soul" – describes itself as a curator of pub culture and good music for more than 35 years, and sits on Jernbanetorget right next to Halden railway station. It is a classic, intimate brown pub known for its Irish coffee and a tight-knit regular crowd, and it doubles as one of the town's most important small live stages.The gig programme ranges from local bands to touring Norwegian and international acts, with an emphasis on rock, punk, garage and alternative alongside blues and country. The pub is also known for hosting visiting American musicians recording at the nearby Athletic Sound studio.
