About this venue
Smile Bar & Venue is a live music venue on Wakefield Road in Aspley, on the edge of Huddersfield town centre, running a programme of touring tribute acts, local blues and rock nights, comedy and club-classics evenings. It grew out of Smile Radio.
The main hall holds up to 650 standing or 250 seated. An upstairs cafe bar hosts smaller acoustic sets and open mic nights; the operator publishes no capacity for it, so none is recorded.
