About this venue

Söndrums Folkets Hus opened in 1898 and calls itself the oldest Folkets Hus in Sweden still used for its original purpose. The hall (Lokal 1) is a 97 m2 party hall for 70 dinner guests or 125 audience seats, and a second room (Lokal 2) of 36 m2 takes about 30 people for meetings and courses. It is let for weekends and weekdays, with a fixed weekend price and a quiet-hours rule at 01.00 because there are tenants upstairs. The association also arranges evenings such as a jazz night and a Monday quiz.
