About this venue
St Machar's Cathedral is a medieval granite cathedral in Old Aberdeen, the oldest building in active use in the city, known for its fortified twin spires and 16th-century heraldic ceiling. Its acoustics and setting make it a regular hire venue for concerts promoted by outside bodies, from classical recitals to Candlelight tribute-concert series.
