About this venue
Steam Hotel occupies the former Västerås steam power plant from 1917 on the shore of Lake Mälaren; the hotel opened in 2017. Besides hotel rooms, restaurants and a rooftop bar it offers 16 conference rooms (the largest taking up to about 550 people according to Wikipedia; the hotel itself states groups of up to 500) and Steam Live, a stage for concerts, stand-up, improv and dinner clubs. Also has the Voltage Lounge Pool Club, a cinema and karaoke rooms.
