About this venue
Storyhouse is Chester's theatre, cinema and library, opened in 2017 in and around the converted 1936 Odeon on Hunter Street. It presents touring drama, musicals, music, comedy and its own repertory seasons, and also runs Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre each summer. The building holds a main theatre that converts between proscenium and thrust layouts, the Garret Theatre studio in the roof space, a cinema, the Garret Bar and a meeting room, all available for hire.
