About this venue

Studentsamfunnet i Grenland is the student society for the University of South-Eastern Norway's campus at Kjølnes in Porsgrunn, and runs the student house Fabrikken as its venue — "the place for top atmosphere", in its own words. The house is open on Wednesdays and Fridays. Every other Wednesday there is a quiz, played in teams, with the society finding a team for anyone who turns up alone. Fridays bring the student pub, theme nights and concerts. Opening hours are Wednesdays 19:00-23:30 and Fridays 20:00-02:00. The society is run by volunteers and organised in subgroups, sells memberships and tickets online, and offers member benefits. It also lets the premises out.
