About this venue
Studio 30 at Mainzer Straße 30 combines regular live music performances and parties on two stages over two floors: the Main-Stage on the ground floor and the Studio-Stage upstairs. Every Friday and Saturday the evening starts at 19:00 with records on the Studio-Stage, followed by two or three bands playing into the night and parties on either stage. The programme is deliberately mixed, from raw punk through intricate indie to soulful singer-songwriters, as long as the music is handmade and authentic.
The club also aims to bring live performance and professional recording together: bands can have their live set recorded in front of an audience. Tickets are sold in advance and at the door; the tourism office lists cash and card payment.
