About this venue
Sundsvalls Teater is one of the municipal stages in Sundsvall: a classic theatre building with a fixed stage, built in 1894 in neo-Renaissance style to designs by Johan Erik Stenberg. It is owned by Sundsvalls kommun and has been a listed building since 1974. The auditorium seats 330, of which 100 are listening places. The programme includes concerts, stand-up, theatre and dance performances. There is a staffed cloakroom, a cafe that opens an hour before each performance, and disabled parking just around the corner from the entrance. Tickets are sold through Entré Sundsvall, and organisers book the stage through the municipal Scenservice.
