Telford Theatre

Telford Theatre is temporarily closed for a council-led rebuild and expansion of its Oakengates site. Construction is scheduled to start in autumn 2026; the council says a construction timeline and expected opening date will be confirmed later. During the works, its Telford Theatre on Tour programme continues at venues across the borough. The rebuilt theatre is planned to include a 766-seat main auditorium, 112-seat studio, community art room, foyer, theatre dining and bar.
