The Auditorium is a purpose-built, tiered theatre-style room on Liverpool's waterfront at Kings Dock, used for conferences, presentations, touring shows and live events. It sits within the Convention Centre building, next door to the M&S Bank Arena.
It is one of the venues of the Liverpool Experience Campus, the estate formerly known as ACC Liverpool, which also comprises the Convention Centre, the Exhibition Centre, the M&S Bank Arena and Ticket Quarter. The campus opened in May 2008 to a Wilkinson Eyre design and is owned by Liverpool City Council.
The room seats 1,350 in tiered theatre style. Two revolving seating drums can be rotated or closed off to reduce the main room or to create smaller separate auditoria, and the Auditorium sits above a 3,725 square metre multi-purpose hall with 21 breakout rooms alongside it, so events can be split and rejoined across the connected campus. Booking is handled by the campus sales team; the box office for public events is Ticket Quarter.
