About this venue
The Blue Note (styled The BlueNote) at 14A Sadler Gate describes itself as Derby's oldest independent nightclub and one of the UK's leading live music venues, with a history of hosting musicians and DJs across the past 40 years in a variety of genres. Promoters list its events on Skiddle, which in 2026 included the Motion trance all-dayer with Factor B and The Thrillseekers on 12 September, a History of House day event, and the ROLLA UK tour date on 24 October 2026. Skiddle's several venue pages for the club give capacities between 350 and 450, so no single figure is listed here. Enquiries go to the club's email address.
