About this venue
Carriageworks Theatre sits on Millennium Square inside the Electric Press, a Victorian carriage works and print works reopened as a cultural building in 2005. It is run by Leeds City Council alongside Millennium Square and Leeds Town Hall.
There are two performance spaces - a proscenium-arch main auditorium seating up to 349 and a flexible studio seating up to 77 - plus six rehearsal and meeting rooms available for conferences and events. The programme runs across drama, music, talks, comedy and an annual pantomime. Tickets are sold through Leeds Ticket Hub.
