The largest single event space in Gloucestershire, a 2,200-seat auditorium inside Cheltenham Racecourse on Evesham Road.
The Centaur is the main event hall at Cheltenham Racecourse on Evesham Road at Prestbury, and the largest single event space in the area. It converts from a theatre-style auditorium for 2,200 to a dinner dance for around 700 or an open exhibition floor.
It is hired through Jockey Club Venues alongside the racecourse's smaller suites, and takes concerts, conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners and graduations as well as race-week hospitality.

Flat-floor hall that converts between a theatre-style auditorium, a banqueting room and an exhibition space.
Operator figures: theatre 2,200, reception 3,000, dinner 660, cabaret 656. A separate dinner-and-dance figure of 610 is published and does not map to a layout key.
