The Derby Conference Centre

The Derby Conference Centre occupies a Grade II listed building on London Road in Alvaston, once home to the British Rail Training College. It now runs as a conference and events venue with a hotel of 50 en-suite bedrooms, plus self-catering accommodation at India House. The centre hires out a range of conference and meeting rooms for corporate events, training, private parties and weddings, with wedding packages for different party sizes. The largest space is the Sunken Lounge, for up to 400 delegates. The Stephenson and Euston Suites combine for up to 200, the Hamlyn Suite takes up to 140, the Euston Suite up to 78, and the Wilkinson Suite and the combined Beckett and Ascot Suite each up to 70. The venue gives one delegate figure per room rather than capacities by layout.
