All areas of the new Design Museum are accessible by level access or by lift. There is ample seating in the public spaces of the museum.
All assistance dogs are welcome.
There are hearing loops installed in key spaces in the building including the Bakala Auditorium, Admissions desk and retail points. Magnifying panels are available for use to assist with reading the texts and captions in exhibitions and displays, please ask any member of staff.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located on the ground floor of the museum. A limited number of wheelchairs are available and should be booked at least 24 hours before your visit.
2 disabled parking spaces are available and should be booked at least 72 hours before your visit. Please submit an online enquiry.
