About this venue

The Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse is an indoor play attraction on Blackpool's central Promenade, next to SEA LIFE Blackpool, based on the children's books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Opened in May 2023 by Merlin Entertainments as a 2.3 million pound investment, it has themed play zones including the Gruffalo's deep dark wood, Zog's Dragon School and an ocean-themed ball pool inspired by The Snail and the Whale. It is designed for children under 10 and offers bookable birthday parties.
