About this venue
The Muni is an Edwardian theatre in the heart of Colne, built as the town's Municipal Hall around 1900-02 and restored to its Edwardian splendour in 1996. It seats up to 600, with a further 800 standing, across a stalls floor and a three-sided balcony.
The theatre runs year-round programming for the whole family, from big-name comedians and tribute bands to pantomime, dance and National Theatre Live screenings. As well as the main auditorium, the Albert Room and other spaces are available for private hire, including parties, weddings and meetings.
