About this venue
The Princess Hall is a 19th-century hall on the main Cheltenham Ladies' College site on Bayshill Road. It is one of the largest venues in Cheltenham, with dramatic Gothic-style pitch pine woodwork and galleries running on two levels around the rear and both sides of the hall.
The 512 sq m hall holds up to 800 in a theatre or lecture layout, 300 for a standing reception and 220 for banqueting. It is fitted with audio-visual equipment and is used for larger productions, orchestral concerts, conferences, gala dinners and wedding receptions.
The hall is let to external hirers through CLC Venues and Events, the college's commercial arm, which also runs the nearby Parabola Arts Centre. Hire includes a duty manager on the day, and catering is available from the college's in-house team.
