About this venue
The Regent is a restored 1930s art deco cinema on Christchurch High Street, run as a charity. It programmes film alongside live theatre, opera, concerts, comedy and dance, and runs a daytime cafe.
It traded as The Regent Centre for many years and the food register still files it under that name.
