About this venue
The VBS Community Stadium on Gander Green Lane is the home ground of Sutton United Football Club, and has been since 1912. Beyond football it is used for events: its MBA Lounge is an air-conditioned function room that hosts the Boom Boom Club's Friday-night live music programme, and the club's hospitality rooms are hired for private functions.
The ground is next to West Sutton railway station and has parking on site. The stadium took the VBS name under a sponsorship announced in August 2021; it was previously the Borough Sports Ground and is still widely called Gander Green Lane.
