About this venue
Uppsala stadsteater is the city theatre of Uppsala, with performances for adults, children and young people across several stages. Outside its own programme the building is used for company and group events: a salon can be booked (when it fits the theatre's own schedule), with technicians and hosts included in the package, followed by dinner in the Teaterbaren bistro. The main stage, Stora scenen, seats about 530 and Lilla scenen about 160; the small Intiman stage seats about 48 around café tables and has full technical equipment. The bistro seats about 70 for a private dinner and the foyer can also be used for seated meals, with a temporary small stage for a few performers. The theatre also offers guided tours and a scenery workshop for events.
