Vallby friluftsteater

The Folkparksteatern, listed as Vallby friluftsteater on maps, is an outdoor theatre that is part of the Folkets park area of Vallby Friluftsmuseum, an open-air museum of about fifty preserved buildings from across Västmanland on the northern side of Västerås. The park and theatre originate from Tillberga, where it opened in 1926, and were moved to the museum in 1971. The museum lets the theatre for theatre, concerts, performances and other events, and a newly built dance floor next to it suits dance and concerts. Other hireable spots on the grounds are a mission house for talks and small concerts, a summerhouse and market stalls. Public events may be arranged by agreement with the museum's programme manager. The museum is open every day all year. Capacity and prices are not published on the pages checked, and being outdoors, use is seasonal.
