About this venue
Västmanlands-Dala nation, known as V-Dala, is one of Uppsala's thirteen student nations and is run by students; its site describes it as the student nation with the most student homes. It hosts large gasques, lunches, club nights and other events and hires out its premises through a "Hyr V-Dala" page. The hire page describes the festival hall as Alvar Aalto's festsal: it seats up to 400, the walls are adjustable, and the stage in the middle of the hall can be used for speeches and entertainment. For release-style parties the premises can hold up to 900 guests, with three dance floors close to three bars, one of which can be switched to karaoke.
