About this venue
Wermland Opera is the regional opera company of Värmland. Its main stage (Stora scen) in the opera house at Malmtorgsgatan 2 sits by the Klarälven river and presents opera, musicals and concerts, with an opera café and a champagne bar in the building and accessibility aids such as lifts and a hearing loop. A second site, Bageriet (Näbbgatan 9), holds the orchestra hall, a studio, rehearsal rooms and workshops and is open to the public around performances. The company sells tickets through its own box office and runs group and corporate offers. It is a separate venue from Karlstad CCC.
