About this venue

Antikvariatet is a music café and book bar on Nedre Bakklandet, in the old wooden quarter across the river from central Trondheim. Shelves of second-hand books give the room its name and its character, and it doubles as one of the city's most-used small stages. The stage is active and deliberately intimate, holding around 60 seated. Its programme is broad rather than specialised — folk song and viser, jazz, rock bands and much in between — and it appears regularly on Songkick and Ticketmaster listings alongside the city's larger rooms. Booking enquiries go to the venue's own booking address, and the current programme is published through its Facebook events page.
