Lade kirke
A Romanesque stone church on Lade in Trondheim, built around 1190 on a site that had already carried a stone church and a stave church. It seats 140, keeps a 1649 pulpit and a 1709 altar with fifteenth-century alabaster friezes, and is used for concerts as well as services.

A modern theatre in central Trondheim, next to the Britannia Hotel, named for the Hjorten revue and variety theatre that ran at Ila from 1867 to 1947. Hovedscenen seats 607 and Lille Hjorten takes up to 80, with the Teaterbaren and the Olgas restaurant in the building.
Olavshallen
Trondheim's main concert house in Kjøpmannsgata, home to the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and Opera. Store sal seats 1,304 with an orchestra pit and hearing loop; Lille sal takes 406 seated or 550 standing on a flat floor. Both are hired out for concerts, theatre, ballet and conferences.
