HAVET Arena

About this venue
HAVET sits at Nyhavna in Trondheim, a twelve-minute walk from the centre, and calls itself the free harbour between work and home — barbecue, hot saunas and stage events all year round.
The sauna village is a floating settlement of seven saunas with a sea-bathing pool, and on the quay stands Árdna, one of the world's largest saunas, with nine cold plunges. Tickets are sold singly or as private sauna bookings, and there are DJ sauna sessions and rituals. The restaurant, BarbeintQ, cooks in wood-fired smokers, and Heim is the bar.
Five spaces are hired out. Djupet is the main room at 600 m² with a 10 by 7 metre stage, taking between 100 and 1,100 people for concerts, conferences, theatre, banquets and film screenings, with full sound, lighting, projector and screen. Langhuset is 180 m² with a 6 by 4 metre stage for 50 to 300 people, also fully rigged. Árdna doubles as a 130 m² event room with a 6 by 3 metre stage for 20 to 80 people, a projector, a screen and a small backstage with a shower. The chambre séparée is 50 m² for 36 people with a fixed 70-inch screen, and the 400 m² Heim restaurant takes 120 but is let only alongside a larger booking.
The programme runs to concerts, shows, club nights, quizzes and silent discos.
