About this venue

Lager11 occupies a large warehouse at Sluppenvegen 11 at Sluppen in Trondheim. It is part food hall, part venue: eight independent restaurants serving street food from around the world, a long drinks list, minigolf, and several distinct areas across a lot of floor space. The performance room is a well-equipped black box, and the programme run through it covers concerts, theatre, festivals, recordings, exhibitions, markets and cultural events, from pub choirs and emo parties to craft-beer masterclasses and the Trondheim Craft Beer Festival. The house explicitly opens the room to both established and emerging cultural producers, and keeps its own production and technical team with experience in events and marketing. Everything is hired out, for closed events inside or outside normal opening hours as well as public ones: company parties, presentations, workshops, student events, celebrations, festivals and concerts. Layout, equipment and entertainment are put together to fit, technical support runs from planning through the night itself, and the organiser gets a single invoice covering food and drink from all the kitchens. Opening hours are Wednesday and Thursday 15:00-23:00, Friday 11:00-23:00, Saturday 12:00-23:00 and Sunday 12:00-20:00, with the food stalls closing earlier. No capacity figures are published.
