About this venue
Ladekaia sits on the quayside at Leiv Eirikssons vei 42 on Lade in Trondheim, next to the Dora 3 submarine bunker, and describes itself as an informal place to eat with a fine position by the sea. It is open every day from 11:00 to 22:00, with the kitchen closing at 21:00, and AtB bus lines 13 and 15 stop nearby.
Alongside the everyday trade it programmes concerts and quiz nights, and puts on its own summer festival and anniversary week. The kitchen runs a buffet built around slow-roasted pork neck and salt-baked halibut.
The place is let for closed events of every size — private celebrations, birthdays, company parties and kick-offs, courses and conferences, Christmas parties and summer parties — with food, drink and service arranged to fit.
