About this venue
Marinehagen is an outdoor event garden on Marineholmen in Møhlenpris, Bergen, occupying around 800 square metres next to the harbour, close to VilVite. Described by its operator as "a lush urban oasis" where "green and urban meet", the space combines planting, lighting and maritime details for a garden-meets-waterfront setting, and accommodates up to 500 guests. It runs seasonally from May to September, with heating and roof options available for less favourable weather, and is used both for private and corporate events – summer parties, festivals, product launches and informal gatherings – and as an outdoor stage for Den Nationale Scene, Bergen's national theatre, which has staged productions there. Catering focuses on local, seasonal ingredients from Western Norway.
