Ås kulturhus

Ås kulturhus sits on Moerveien in the centre of Ås and is the municipality's main venue for film, music and theatre. Ås kinoteater is the largest room, an amphitheatre seating 463 after a 2018 expansion from 395, with up to five wheelchair spaces on the back row available on request. Store sal, on the first floor, is the flexible hall: roughly 200 standing, 180 seated in rows, or 100 to 130 at tables depending on how it is furnished. Alongside it are Lille sal and two salons, and Foajéscenen — a small stage in the foyer with flexible seating for intimate events. The house programmes cinema, jazz, theatre and exhibitions, and hires its rooms out for anything from ten-person gatherings to events of up to 200 guests.
