Bents Park is a seafront park on Sea Road in South Shields, run by South Tyneside Council. It sits above the coast beside Ocean Beach and South Marine Park.
It is the main outdoor concert site for the This is South Tyneside Festival, whose Sunday Concerts series draws large crowds each summer. The 2026 programme included Joe McElderry, 911, ABC with Chesney Hawkes, and a closing dance bill on 2 August. The park is also used for comedy and outdoor theatre.
