About this venue

The Bi Nuu is located directly in the U-Bahn station Schlesisches Tor, opened in 1902, in the Wrangelkiez in Kreuzberg. It opened in 2012 in the former KATO club and is named after the third studio album of the band Ideal. Before concerts and parties took over, the premises had been a department store, a cafe and an exhibition space. The operator lists a total floor area of 305 square metres: the concert room (221 square metres) with an optional stage 4 m wide and 3 m deep, a cafe of 84 square metres with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a 50 square metre backstage area. The venue is used for concerts, parties, conferences, workshops, company events and film shoots. The programme runs from rap and jazz nights to metal tours and DJ parties. The operator states that all entrances are step-free and that there is an accessible toilet. Tickets are sold online or via KOKA36 only; the door takes cash only.
