About this venue
The Blizard Building is Queen Mary University of London's research and teaching building on the Whitechapel campus, opened in 2005 to a design by Will Alsop. Alongside its laboratories it is let for events through QM Venues, which describes it as bookable for meetings, corporate days, conferences, seminars and birthday parties.
The Perrin Lecture Theatre takes up to 400 guests. The Neuron Pod, a separate steel pod raised above the courtyard, holds up to 30 for dinner. The Blizard Foyer takes up to 150, which the operator says can be increased when booked together with the Nucleus Cafe.
