About this venue
Bolton Socialist Club is a members' club at 16 Wood Street in Bolton town centre, the oldest remaining independent socialist club in the country. Alongside its political and campaigning work it runs a small grassroots events room, hosting touring folk and singer-songwriter acts, theatre, open mic nights and community events, including a monthly Write Out Loud poetry night on the first Sunday of the month.
