About this venue

The bremer kriminal theater, run by bremer kriminal theater e.V., plays in the Union-Brauerei building complex on Theodorstraße, on the fourth floor, reached by lift from the courtyard and described as step-free. It presents itself as Bremen's most exciting theatre and stages crime plays such as I Hired A Contract Killer, Fräulein Smillas Gespür für Schnee, Ostfriesenblut and Der Enkeltrick, plus the Mordsfrühstück crime breakfast and a crime quiz. The standard seating plan has nine bistro tables at the front, each for four or, if needed, five people, and a steep tribune of nine rows of 16 seats behind; the plan can differ for individual productions. The theatre also hosts guest performances, an open stage and a Jazzahead club night, and sells tickets in person on weekday afternoons and by phone.
