About this venue
The Bürgerhaus Möhringen opened in March 2008 at Möhringen station as the district's community centre, run by the City of Stuttgart. It is a centre for concerts, lectures, exhibitions and cultural meetings and is used regularly by clubs and organisations; it is not available for private events.
The largest room is the Ursula-Ida-Lapp-Saal on the first floor, 652 m², which can be split in two by a partition and has a stage with a sound system, a hearing loop and an integrated screen, with two dressing rooms and direct stage access below. The 86 m² Gottlob-Auwärter-Raum is used for choir and orchestra rehearsals and small recitals; there are also two further music rooms, a 47 m² workroom, three meeting rooms opening onto a roof terrace and a professionally equipped catering kitchen. The building is step-free via a lift from the public underground car park (paid, Monday to Saturday 9 am to 10 pm) and has an accessible toilet.
