About this venue
The Cannstatter Wasen in Bad Cannstatt is the site of Stuttgart's biggest events. It hosts the Cannstatter Volksfest, founded in 1818 and with around four million visitors a year the second-largest folk festival in the world (25 September to 11 October 2026, with the Landwirtschaftliches Hauptfest alongside), and the Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest, first held in 1934. Besides the festivals the ground is used for open-air concerts — Die Toten Hosen played here on 13 June 2026 — the Harald Wohlfahrt Palazzo dinner show in its Spiegelpalast, and the Weltweihnachtscircus Stuttgart in the Christmas season.
The ground is managed by in.Stuttgart; organisers who want to stage an event on the Wasen apply to the Wasen team via its contact form.
