About this venue
Chatelherault Country Park lies on Carlisle Road at Ferniegair, south-east of Hamilton. Its centrepiece is the hunting lodge William Adam built in 1732 for the Dukes of Hamilton, now a five-star visitor attraction with a visitor centre, café and gallery, set in more than ten miles of trails through ancient woodland and the Avon Gorge.
Beyond its own programme of markets, guided walks, trail runs, craft workshops and seasonal events, the lodge is hired for meetings, training courses, banquets and wedding ceremonies.
