About this venue
Chew's Yard is a food-and-drinks hall in a converted former industrial workshop and joinery building off Market Street West, in the heart of Preston. Independent traders serve food and drink around a central hall, with a separate events room used for live music, DJs, markets and private parties, all wrapped around a walled garden.
The venue opened in May 2024 after operating as a pop-up in late 2023, and takes its name from Chew's Yard, a historic artisans' alleyway that once linked Friargate and Market Street West.
