About this venue
Club Zentral is a concert and culture club on Hohe Straße in Stuttgart city centre, a short walk from Berliner Platz and the Liederhalle. It is one of three concert houses run by the Stuttgarter Jugendhaus Gesellschaft (stjg), alongside clubCANN and Jugendhaus West.
The programme centres on live music by national and international artists, mainly metal, prog and rock (including the ProgMotion series), and the club also gives regional and young bands of any genre a stage. Poetry slams, improv theatre and stand-up nights fill out the calendar.
The standing-only club holds about 200 people and has a 30 m² stage with professional lighting and sound, plus a foyer with lounge seating. The venue is step-free, and a companion accompanying a guest who needs assistance is admitted free.
