About this venue

The Crown Hotel is a historic hotel in the centre of the canal town of Stone, Staffordshire. Its history goes back to the 16th century, and it was largely rebuilt in 1779 after a fire and run for years as a coaching inn. It has 32 bedrooms, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel is a busy local events venue. The Ballroom holds up to 150 guests and hosts wedding receptions (with an entertainment licence, dance floor, live band and DJ facilities and a function bar), Christmas party nights with a resident DJ, and tribute nights and other live entertainment. The Hollands Room and Oak Room are let for meetings, private dinners and conferences. Birthday parties, anniversaries and memorial events are also catered for in-house, and there is free on-site parking.
